Face-to-Face Events:

The Bridges Trainer Certifications are designed for individuals who will take the information from Bridges Out of Poverty back to their own institutions for in-house staff development. The training includes in-depth work on two workshops: Bridges Out of Poverty: Strategies for Professionals and Communities and Bridges Out of Poverty: Applying Bridges Concepts. Click here for more information about becoming a Certified Trainer.

The Getting Ahead Facilitator Training is designed for those who want to facilitate the Getting Ahead in a Just-Gettin’-By World curriculum in their organization or community. Getting Ahead helps individuals understand the impact of socioeconomic class on themselves and their communities and build resources to succeed in the middle-class world of education and work.

Addressing the Challenges of Poverty brings together all sectors of a community in one venue for networking and learning in order to create healthier, stronger communities, colleges, and schools.

Trainer Recertifications:

This event meets the requirement for two-year certified Bridges trainers to become certified for another two years after their initial certification expires.

This event enables Bridges certified trainers with two-year certification to upgrade to a lifetime certificate. Two-year certification requires recertification every two years for a fee, while lifetime certification requires no recertification. However, lifetime-certified trainers may take recertification courses as a refresher at no charge.
